The cattery of the giants of hyades, is a family cattery located in the south of France near Aix en Provence. Our priority is the health, safety and well-being of our cats and kittens born with us. All adult bengals are regularly tested for HCM/PKD, PRA/PKDef, FeLV/FIV, TTF, cryptosporidium and giardia. They are vaccinated and checked annually by our veterinarian. The kittens are sold with a contract which is also your warranty certificate. Of course, you will receive a pedigree. Socialization Our bengal kittens grow up in the living room in the company of our adult bengals. They get used to all noises, such as vacuum cleaner and washing machine, so they are not afraid of anything. We are handling the kittens on a daily basis, so they develop a loving nature. We breed with care for our cats. That means we only take a few litters per queen. Communication We send new photos weekly. We take these with a professional camera. adopt UN MAINE COON The Giants of Hyades Les Géants d'Hyades is a professional Maine Coon breeder declared to the Departmental Directorate for the Protection of Populations (DDPP) but of family size. My husband and I are both holders of the ACACED (Certificate of Knowledge for Companion Animals of Domestic Species) ​ We are located near Aix en Provence. Our kittens leave home at the age of 3 and a half months or 14 weeks and are all registered, without exception, with the LOOF. The kittens leave all sterilized or neutered without exception (see blog post on the subject ). Our babies will therefore only leave in company for a nice life on the couch! ​ We are not currently accepting reproduction sales, so there is no need to contact us for this. We also do not accept exterior projections. Indeed we have contracts with breeders who have trusted us. It is out of the question to betray that. ​ The option on a kitten is possible from its 1 month. ​ For this, we ask you to complete the online form/questionnaire on our site. (see link at bottom of page) ​ This option does not bind anyone: neither the adopter nor the breeder. This is not a RESERVATION. ​ I will contact you after reading the form to discuss with you and confirm if the option is possible on your favorite kitten. ​ I refuse any reservation before a first meeting. The latter can only take place after the first vaccination of the kittens (at the age of 2 months) in order to protect them from any health risk. ​ The day of the visit, fixed beforehand by appointment (our breeding is our place of life it is therefore important to respect our family life) you will have all the leisure to spend time with your favorite kitten, in a room equipped for those special moments. This is an important moment for you but also for us. We are committed to choosing the right families for our kittens. ​ Before meeting your kitten, we will give you overshoes and hydroalcoholic gel will be provided to you. We also ask that you come to the breeding without your furry companions. The genesis I wanted an affix name that would be a nod to my children who play a real role in my breeding by being my little helpers always ready to play with the kittens, cuddle them, groom them or even change the litter._cc781905 -5cde-3194-bb3b-136bad5cf58d_ Celia and Nathan being both of the sign of the bull, we thought quite quickly of the Hyades. Indeed, the Hyades are an asterism in the constellation of Taurus. These are the stars which together form the V representing the head of this celestial animal (Germanicus) The term Giant was then added to symbolize the majestic and imposing side that we adore in the Maine Coon The name of the Giants of Hyades was born! Our values We have made the choice of a small family breeding (2 litters maximum per year currently) in order to be able to savor each litter and thus be totally available for each little being who comes into the world with us. ​ Our cats live with us, in our house, no room is forbidden and they evolve naturally in the middle of our 3 dogs (Bella, Baloo, and Louna). It is the same for kittens who are accustomed from their first moments of life to the sounds of life and to being handled, cuddled and "papouillées" every day. They are thus totally sensitized to all sorts of stimuli in order to be completely comfortable in their paws (my favorite expression). However, in order to guarantee their safety, they do not have free access to the house but only under our supervision.
