Les Géants d'Hyades is a professional Maine Coon breeder declared to the Departmental Directorate for the Protection of Populations (DDPP) but of family size.
My husband and I are both holders of the ACACED (Certificate of Knowledge for Companion Animals of Domestic Species)
We are located near Aix en Provence.
Our kittens leave home at the age of 3 and a half months or 14 weeks and are all registered, without exception, with the LOOF.
The kittens leave all sterilized or neutered without exception (see blog post on the subject). Our babies will therefore only leave in company for a nice life on the couch!
We are not currently accepting reproduction sales, so there is no need to contact us for this.
We also do not accept exterior projections. Indeed we have contracts with breeders who have trusted us. It is out of the question to betray that.
The option on a kitten is possible from its 1 month.
For this, we ask you to complete the online form/questionnaire on our site. (see link at bottom of page)
This option does not bind anyone: neither the adopter nor the breeder. This is not a RESERVATION.
I will contact you after reading the form to discuss with you and confirm if the option is possible on your favorite kitten.
I refuse any reservation before a first meeting. The latter can only take place after the first vaccination of the kittens (at the age of 2 months) in order to protect them from any health risk.
The day of the visit, fixed beforehand by appointment (our breeding is our place of life it is therefore important to respect our family life) you will have all the leisure to spend time with your favorite kitten, in a room equipped for those special moments. This is an important moment for you but also for us. We are committed to choosing the right families for our kittens.
Before meeting your kitten, we will give you overshoes and hydroalcoholic gel will be provided to you. We also ask that you come to the breeding without your furry companions. After this visit and if your crush is confirmed, we will have you sign a reservation contract with a deposit (30% of the amount)
However, we reserve the right to refuse a sale if it seems necessary to us in the interest of the kitten.
After cashing your check or bank transfer, the reservation will be final.
The deposit will be acquired at the farm in the event of withdrawal on your part.
If it is impossible to sell the kitten due to health or other concerns, the amount of the reservation will of course be refunded to the buyer.

The balance of the price of the kitten will be paid in full one week before the departure of the kitten. No departure will take place without the payment of the balance of the price of the kitten.

Pedigree OR declaration of the request to the LOOF if the request is in progress (the processing times for the LOOF are sometimes a bit long)

The identification card will be sent to you by Icad directly to your home.

Price of a kitten regardless of color or gender: €1600 including tax
Since November 18, 2021, a new law has come into force against animal abuse.
It is now mandatory to have our adopters sign a certificate of knowledge commitments, 7 days before the sale.
Only professionals holders of the Certificate of Knowledge for Pets of Domestic Species (ACACED) issued by les DRAAF (Regional Directorates for Food, Agriculture and Forestry).
